What are injectables

There are many different types of injectables.  We use Dysport which consists of a neuromodulator to paralyse muscles in the face and neck.  It’s not as bad as it sounds, this is what helps to soften frown lines and wrinkles to give you a youthful look.

Who carries out the procedure?

We have a qualified nurse on the premises who is trained and carries out these procedures.

The Initial Consultation.

We will have a discussion with you about what you want to achieve.  In some cases, you may be told it isn’t possible.

While you can do a lot with injectables, they still need to work with the proportions of your features, and it’s possible to over-enhance them.

We suggest you go for a gradual approach if you want to make significant changes.

You will be asked about adverse reactions to injections in the past. Any medications you are on – as these can impact the injectables.

Is it painful?

It can be daunting having a needle approaching your face. You can keep your eyes closed and listen to Jill as she guides you through the process.

Pain is minimal and it should feel like a quick sharp pinch.

What is the recovery time?

There is minimal recovery time.  After 15 minutes you should be able to leave.  You may see small pink dots after the treatment.  In some instances there could be minor bruising but this will fade after 5 – 7 days.
